Browse hiragana, katakana, numbers, radicals, Jōyō kanji and 10,000 common vocabulary words. Choose a deck and a game, then check its options for answering, drawing or displaying Japanese text.
See the practice behind your score
Your dashboard brings together game history, attempts, accuracy and scores. Written, chosen, guided and self-assessed answers are recorded separately.
A correct written answer earns 10 points. A correct chosen answer earns 5 points. Incorrect, guided and self-assessed answers add no points to the main score. These are practice points, not a language qualification.
Keep your progress with your account
Signed-in practice is saved to your account so you can return to your records. Guest progress lasts for the current visit only.
New accounts require email verification. Email delivery setup is being completed, so registration may be unavailable while that work finishes. You can still practise as a guest or sign in to an existing account.
